Power & Control

Concept By PrinceAnthony Hall

She exudes what he wants, and he is what she needs. With her killer smile and poison lips, Lita traps him in her spell. It’s effortless, Prince cant resist. Lita is beautiful, and some say magical. But it’s his charm that entangled her; his innate ability to supply security with a gentle touch. He brings balance to her chaotic world, and she gives him reason. Where Lita goes Prince follows. All eyes gravitate to them no matter where they go. They adorn their blinders and pay no mind the generic onlookers. They only have eyes for each other.

Nature & Fabrication

Concept By PrinceAnthony Hall

We live in a world similar to a fairytale. There are the humans who reside on the bright and whimsical side, and then there are the Fairies, Goblins, and Elves that don’t have the same luxuries. They often live separate from the humans, in hidden villages and towns, where they are safe from the judgment and attack. Unfortunately, In the America we live in black people/people of color are the shunned fairies and elves. With that understanding, I planned this shoot to show the inhabitants of those hidden villages and sacred places.
I want to explore what the black body looks like when it is at ease, in ‘’Nature’’ in a space where they are truly free and allowed to live at peace. However, i’d like to show how black Americans/mystical Creatures negotiate the ‘’Fabricated’’ world they commonly feel alienated from.
— PrinceAnthony
The use of Fabric is to represent the fabricated space, or society that is overtly different than the one known to black people. Another element that is being used to tell the story fabrication and nature, mirrors. Black people in America are constantly forced to reflect on how they are perceived by the world around them, but in these images, the mirror will be turned towards the camera with the model behind it. presenting the nature they’re true selves.
